About Patrimony Partners
Building Your Legacy One Generation at a Time.

Growing a business is hard. Growing it with family is personal. I specialise in navigating the unspoken tensions and unique complexities of family-run firms so you can focus on the future, together.
In a family business, the boardroom and the living room are often the same place. This overlap creates a unique set of challenges from succession anxieties and sibling rivalries to the "founder’s shadow." Without a neutral party to facilitate, these dynamics can stall decision-making or, worse, end it all.
Why Family Businesses
I grew up in the fast-paced world of a family real estate business. Despite having a background in financial planning, my seat at the table was often defined more by my birth order than my expertise. I spent years as the "middle child" and the "cleanup guy," watching valuable advice get overlooked simply because of the family hierarchy.
It wasn't until my investment strategies were finally implemented that significant profits were realised, my value was proven, though the family dynamics remained unchanged. That experience led me to a realisation: In a family business, logic often takes a backseat to legacy roles.
However, no credit was given or required.
Refusing your calling, is a refusal to evolve and transcend life's challenges.
The Calling
Driven by a desire to fix these "invisible" barriers, I trained as a Family Coach and am currently studying to become an Organisational Psychologist. I don't just look at your balance sheet; I look at the family system. I understand the "gofer" who should be a director, the founder who can't let go, and the sibling rivalries that stall multi-million dollar decisions.
Only 30% of family businesses succeed in passing over the enterprise to the 2nd generation, from the founder.
Only 12% of family firms move on to the 3rd generation.
80% of failures in the generational handover are primarily down to a breakdown of trust.

How I Help
I act as the objective bridge between generations and interests. My approach focuses on:
Conflict Resolution: Turning "taboo" topics into productive conversations.
Succession Governance: Ensuring a smooth transition that respects the past and empowers the future.
Communication Frameworks: Establishing professional boundaries that keep family time sacred and business time effective.
Why It Matters
A unified family isn't just a "nice to have" it is your greatest competitive advantage. When the family is aligned, the business becomes unstoppable. It is reported, the business members from outside the organisation are the happiest when a family business is in harmony.
I am here to ensure that your legacy isn't just about the wealth you build, but the relationships you keep.
Let’s protect your legacy.
If you’re ready to move past the friction and start planning for what’s next, let’s talk.
